Our Leadership
Pastoral Staff
Calvary Church has warmly welcomed John Ramer as our new pastor to help lead us forward in the work of rebuilding our church. John and his wife, Melissa, have four children and live in Mundelein. John loves to see others enter into the journey of an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ while being part of a loving community—a community that welcomes everyone just as they are. He delights in teaching God's Word and communicating in a way that is helpful and applicable to daily life for anyone regardless of where they are in their own spiritual journey.
John has nearly two decades of pastoral experience and comes also with a background in high-technology industrial machinery sales and marketing. He graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with a Masters in Divinity magna cum laude. His undergraduate degree is from the University of Michigan School of Business.
John also enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, playing golf, remodeling, travel, music, the arts, rooting for his alma mater's sports teams and good movies. Here are some of John's favorite quotes:

Lynda Oatley
Lynda is our first Missionary on Staff. She serves in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil working with street and slum kid ministries in partnership with the Baptist General Conference. For more information about Lynda and the other missionaries we support, visit the missions page.

Ministry Coordinators
Children's Ministry
Calvary Children's Ministry (or CCM for short) is currently under the guidance of a committee of volunteer leaders that ensures things run smoothly from week to week while we seek to find a new CCM coordinator. Student Ministry
